Washoe County licence
The county lists an $85 marriage licence fee, with both parties present. A licence can be obtained up to one year before the ceremony; no clerk appointment is required.

Arrange an appointment with the venue. Bring a Nevada marriage licence; the venue accepts one from any Nevada county. The $80 venue copy-handling service is a separate charge.

People & guests
Who is welcome?
The Loft welcomes LGBTQ+ couples. The venue describes an inclusive space for all couples.
How many guests?
The room holds 48 people total, including the two of you. Package limits range from two guests to 46; choose the package that matches your plans.
What about a witness?
Ask about a witness before making an appointment. A provided witness is $80 and subject to availability; the venue specifies over 18 with valid ID.
How many people in the bridal suite?
Up to six, including the bride. Pre-ceremony rental is $115/hour, subject to availability, with no food or drinks. It is not a reception booking. Traditional includes 10 minutes; extra use requires rental.
Visits & timing
Can we walk in?
No. The Loft is open daily by appointment only. Call or text to discuss a date; an enquiry does not reserve it.
Where can guests park?
The venue FAQ describes a free lot for about 25 cars, with parking on both sides of the building and on Washington Street. Confirm arrival arrangements and any access needs before visiting.
What if we arrive late?
Additional time is subject to schedule availability and starts at $65 per 20-minute block. If a ceremony must be rescheduled, the fee is $120 and rates for the new start time apply.
Costs & next questions
Is the county fee included in the $80 copy service?
No. The $85 county marriage licence fee and the venue’s $80 certified-copy handling are different charges.
Do weekend and evening fees apply?
The weekend fee is $120 after 3pm Friday and all day Saturday/Sunday; weekends after 6pm add $60. Holiday and weekday before/after-hours fees can also apply. See the complete fee list and confirm your date.
What about deposits, payment and cancellation?
Discuss these directly with The Loft before agreeing to an appointment. No payment, cancellation or deposit terms are promised here.
Can we arrange flowers or photography?
Yes, you can contact the independently listed vendors. Their services are separate from ceremony packages and their availability must be confirmed with them.
