FAQ · marriage license
Good questions, plain answers.
Parking, capacity, same-day ceremonies and the Nevada license. If yours is not here, call or text.

Q01What is the parking situation?
A large, free lot holds about 25 cars, and technically more if needed. Guests can also park on either side of the building or on Washington Street out front.
Q02Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?
100% absolutely. Love is worth celebrating, and every ceremony here should feel true to the couple having it.
Q03Can we do a walk-in wedding?
We work by appointment only so every couple gets the time they need. You don't have to plan far ahead, though: same-day appointments are welcome when our schedule allows. Call or text (775) 899-0153 to ask.
Q04How many people fit in the bridal suite?
Up to 6 people, including the bride.
Q05How many guests can the venue hold?
Up to 48 people in total, including the two of you. Our packages run from 2 guests to 46.
Q06Do we need a marriage license?
Yes. You need a Nevada marriage license, and a license from any county in Nevada works. The easiest and fastest is the Washoe County Clerk at 1001 East Ninth Street in Reno, about six minutes from us. The fee is $85 and both of you must be present.
Q07What about deposits, payment and cancellations?
Those terms aren't published here. Call or text (775) 899-0153, or email getmarried@theloftreno.com, and we'll walk you through them when you pick a date.
Still wondering? Just ask.
A quick call or text usually settles it.
